26 VCTS - through their official submission center Grosnor
Distribution Inc.
In addition - attendees can now submit
previously signed comics & cards to be submitted for Signature
Authentication by JSA!
CGC will also be authenticating
signatures done by the scheduled Guests at the October 25 & 26 Show.

HERITAGE AUCTIONS
Heritage Auctions are making their
first-ever appearance at any Vancouver comic show! Barry Sandoval,
Vice President, and Matthew McGee, Consignment Director, will have
a table at the October 25 & 26 Vancouver Comic & Toy Show and will
be accepting consignments on-site for upcoming comic book and
comic art auctions. They will be transporting consigned items back
to Dallas, with Heritage handling all customs formalities. And any
collectors who are not yet ready to sell, but just want to gather
information for when the time is right, are welcome to come by the
table to learn more about Heritage and the auction process.

JAMES LLOYD
James Lloyd is a Vancouver cartoonist
best known as the regular artist on the Futurama Comics title, for
which he providing pencils for the series debut issue until its
final publication in 2018. During that time he provided the art
for the best selling Simpsons/Futurama Crossover Crisis series,
which remains a bestseller in print from Abrams Books today. He
has since contributed to comic projects for First Second books,
Boom! Comics (Adventure Time Comics), Oni Press (Rick and Morty
comics) and remains true to his small-press roots with several new
self-published releases. He currently focuses his creative lens on
the shifting landscape of Vancouver life, telling the stories of
his neighbours in comic form.
He has worked in Vancouver’s
animation industry since the mid-90’s, returning recently on the
revamped Rocky & Bullwinkle series, and as background supervisor
on the Canadian production Summer Memories.
James has also
explored the realms of comics education and played a key role in
forming Langara College’s Graphic Novel and Comix program, where
he instructed both World Building and Comics History courses. He
has held presentations, workshops & mentorship programs throughout
his twenty years plus of drawing professionally.
This
summer he released a new retrospective sketchbook featuring both
professional and personal work and will be available at the
October Comic & Toy Show! Quantities are very limited, so this may
be the last chance to procure a copy!






ANDY POON

Andy Poon is a Vancouver-based art director and concept
artist with over 20 years of experience in the entertainment
industry and a lifelong passion for geek culture. His creative
vision has helped shape numerous high-profile projects, including
Predator: Killer of Killers, Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender,
The Dragon Prince, Sonic the Hedgehog, the CW Arrowverse, Monster
High, Warcraft, and many other acclaimed series and films.
Beyond his contributions to major studios, Andy is also developing
his own original animated properties and he hopes to share with
audiences around the globe in the near future.

JAMES HANSON

"BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!"
James Hanson is one of Canada‘s
greatest Magicians. Professional magician for over 30 years. James
had an unusual origin story growing up in Nova Scotia. Magic and
magic shops were less than available until James met his lifelong
mentor, wizard magician, Dave Moon, hired directly out of high
school to do theme parks. It wasn’t long before James was touring
internationally. Having performed award winning magic in Japan,
Florida, Bermuda, Turkey and Saudi Arabia. For celebrities and
royalty. James is eagerly poised and excited to perform super hero
type stunts and challenges at the Vancouver Comic & Toy Show for
the entire family to enjoy.





SYDNEY GREEN

Sydney is an independent comic artist
and writer living in New Westminster, BC. Originally from Texas,
her work seeks to unsettle and terrify with stories about women in
historical settings. She has created three independent comics thus
far, The Sculptor's Wife, Oliver, and her longest work The Vows of
Beasts, and is currently writing a novel.
Her work can
currently be found at @syd.sees.monsters as well as Lucky's Books
and Comics on Main.




MARCELO MATERE
Marcelo Matere is a Canadian-Brazilian
illustrator and concept artist with over 20 years of experience,
best known for his work on Transformers. His dynamic artwork has
been featured in comic books, toy packaging, and official media
for Hasbro, Marvel, IDW Publishing, and Wizards of the Coast.
Currently, Marcelo creates concept art for Transformers toys
and the G.I. Joe Classified line, in addition to being the
exclusive cover artist for Skybound/Image Comics’ Transformers
series. In 2024, he was honored as the first Brazilian inducted
into the Transformers Hall of Fame, celebrating his significant
contributions to the franchise.

with fans!






ROBIN THOMPSON

Robin Thompson (aka Robin T.
Illustration) is an independent comic book illustrator (Zombie
Jesus), commercial artist, and art instructor.
His
freelancing illustration experience includes storyboarding for
film and television, graphic design, and interior mural work for
seasonal attractions (Cougar Creek's House of Horrors).
He
has developed and instructed artistic programs for Emily Carr
University of Art and Design, Langara College, and dozens of
community centres throughout Vancouver.
Lending his
extensive knowledge of the comic book medium, Robin has been a
guest speaker for the Vancouver Art Gallery's renowned “Krazy!”
and "COMIX: A Retrospective of Comic Art" exhibits.
Attending artistic exhibitions across the mainland annually, Robin
brings his unique brand exclusively to each event with original
"pocket art", art prints, and comic book sketch covers.
Robin is a proud perpetual exhibitor at the Vancouver Comic and
Toy Show.




PEEJAY CATACUTAN
Peejay Catacutan is a Filipino
illustrator based in BC. He has worked on a range of projects from
comic cover art to tabletop game illustrations for TMNT, Power
Rangers, G.I.Joe, Transformers, and in the pages of Heavy Metal
Magazine. He was recently commissioned to produce the latest
Street Fighter 2 trading card series for Capcom USA and Saturday
Morning Cards.






AARON BUCK
Since 2019, Aaron Buck has continued to
make his mark among self-published authors in the Canadian book
scene. In that short span, he’s published six books on Amazon,
which can also be found on the shelves at Indigo on Robson in
downtown Vancouver.
Aaron writes and illustrates all his
books and takes pride in creating original stories that will have
both children and adults engrossed with each passing page. Whether
it’s his four hilarious children’s books or his two coffee table
books filled with his signature hand-drawn, hyper-detailed ink
city cities… Aaron has created books that all ages can enjoy.

CHEESE:
REEL Mac and cheese offers gourmet, made fresh on
the truck macaroni and cheese with seven cheeses, and a variety of
movie themed menu items.
While macaroni and cheese itself
is slightly retro they have given it a modern twist with menu
offerings such as Slumdog Millionaire that includes curry paste
and peas and The Green Mile that is topped with freshly cooked
broccoli florets and crispy onions.
They serve up inspired
comfort food made from scratch right on the truck. They start with
real butter, add whole milk, select spices and seven different
cheeses, the result is creamy deliciousness.

Stackers food truck is based in Vancouver and serves
Korean-American fusion burgers. Focused on delivering quality
through a simple yet creative menu, STACKERS offers three standout
items: the Classic Stackers Cheeseburger with house-made Stackers
sauce, the Korean fusion WANG burger featuring vegan kimchi, egg,
and kimchi mayo, and the Vegan KIMCHI loaded fries topped with
K(imchi)RIRACHA sauce and avocado coconut milk cream sauce.
As the only Korean cuisine-inspired American hamburger food
truck, STACKERS takes pride in crafting all their sauces in-house
and fermenting their kimchi for four days to achieve the perfect
